Which emails will I get from GoalCube?

For: EveryoneTakes 2 min.Last updated

Short answer

All emails come from noreply@goalcube.eu. A new user gets one email: welcome and confirm your email. The rest go to administrators with a confirmed email: order confirmation and invoices, receipts for cancellation, undoing a cancellation and refunds, notice of a declined payment, notice 14 days before an annual subscription renews, messages about VAT numbers, invoice details and quotes above 250 users, the Monday email (only with Personal data or People decisions) and confirmation of deletion. Links require login, and GoalCube never asks for card details by email. Replies to these emails are not read – write to contact@goalcube.eu.

GoalCube only sends emails about your account. All of them come from noreply@goalcube.eu.

When you are a new user

Welcome to GoalCube – confirm your email. One email, once you have created your passkey – also when a colleague has invited you. Press the link within 72 hours. GoalCube can only send you other emails once the address is confirmed. If you have not signed up with GoalCube, ignore the email. See Create an account, log in and invite colleagues.

When you are an administrator

All other emails go to the company's administrators with a confirmed email. If you get a receipt, all administrators get it, so you can see if someone else has cancelled or undone a cancellation.

Email When
Order confirmation and invoice At your first purchase, with a link to the invoice.
Invoice At every renewal. See Invoices.
Subscription cancelled or Agreement cancelled When an administrator cancels.
The cancellation has been undone When an administrator undoes a cancellation.
The money has been sent back At a refund, with a link to the credit note.
The payment was declined When a payment is declined, for example because the card has expired or is blocked. We try again after 1 and 2 days. If that does not work, you switch to AI use (free), and your data stays where it is. Change the card under Settings > Plan.
Your annual subscription will renew soon 14 days before an annual subscription renews, with the date and amount. Check that the card is still valid.
The VAT number or The invoice details When the VAT number cannot be confirmed in the EU VAT register (VIES), or the invoice details are missing.
You have more than 250 users The first time you have more than 250 users at a renewal. We contact you about a quote.
The Monday email Every Monday at 8 a.m., only for companies with Personal data or People decisions and an active subscription. You can opt out. See The Monday email.
Your data has been deleted When all your data has been deleted. See Account and data.

What is in the emails

Only what the email is about: for example plan, period, amount, dates and invoice or credit note number. The company name appears only in the Monday email and in the confirmation of deletion. No names of people, no cases and no data from your datasets.

How to recognise a genuine email

  • It comes from noreply@goalcube.eu.
  • Links lead to goalcube.eu and require you to log in with your passkey. A forwarded email therefore gives no access.
  • GoalCube never asks for card details by email. The card is only changed inside GoalCube under Settings > Plan.

If you are in doubt, open GoalCube yourself instead of pressing the link.

Replying to the emails

Replies to these emails are not read – write to contact@goalcube.eu. Include your customer number and, if there is one, the error code. Do not send sensitive information such as health details, national ID numbers or data from your datasets by email. See What does Error code GC-… mean?.

GoalCube sends the emails via Sweego in France. Emails to contact@goalcube.eu are received and stored by Simply.com in Denmark. See the privacy policy.
