Invoices: find, save and correct the details
Short answer
Every payment gets an invoice with a consecutive number, and if you get your money back, you get a credit note. Administrators with a confirmed email get a link in an email from noreply@goalcube.eu, and all invoices are under Settings > Plan. Open the invoice and save it as a PDF with your browser's Print. Corrected invoice details only apply to new invoices. If you switch from monthly to yearly, you get one invoice with two lines. Only administrators can see invoices.
Find the invoice
- Open Settings > Plan.
- Under Invoices you see all invoices with number, date and amount.
- Press the number to open the invoice.
After every payment, administrators with a confirmed email also get a link in an email from noreply@goalcube.eu – for a first purchase, as an order confirmation. The link requires you to log in with your passkey. Replies to these emails are not read – write to contact@goalcube.eu. See Which emails will I get?.
Save as PDF
Open the invoice and press Save as PDF (or use your browser's Print and choose Save as PDF). Keep the invoices in your own accounts.
Correct the invoice details
Name, address, country and VAT number are entered the first time an administrator chooses a paid plan. To correct them later, open Settings > Plan and choose Correct invoice details. You change the card with Change card – this does not take a new payment. Corrections only apply to new invoices – an invoice that has been issued is never changed.
Before the payment, the administrator ticks We buy as a company, not as a private individual. GoalCube only sells to businesses. The time of the tick is shown on the invoice. If the confirmation is missing, the Plan page asks you to confirm the invoice details and tick the box before the next payment.
Invoice when you switch from monthly to yearly
If you switch from monthly to yearly in the middle of a month, you get one invoice with two lines:
- The yearly price for the new year, which starts the same day.
- A deduction for the part of the month you have not used (a negative amount with the period and the number of that month's invoice).
You pay the difference. Each line shows its period. If you switch from yearly to monthly, there is no extra invoice – the next invoice is for one month, once the year is over.
What SumUp shows
At SumUp, each payment shows the plan, the period, the VAT and the amount (your bank statement normally shows only GoalCube and the amount). The line is in Danish, for example "GoalCube Persondata · år 01.11.26–31.10.27 · DK 25 % moms · netto 290,00 € · moms 72,50 €" – plan, year or month, period, VAT type, net amount and VAT. Businesses in other EU countries see "EU omvendt betalingspligt" (EU reverse charge) instead of Danish VAT. The period is written as day.month.year, and the last day is included. The description never contains your company name, address, VAT number or email.
Have we charged too much?
If we have charged too much, we send the money back to the card and issue a credit note. Your subscription continues as before. The credit note is under Invoices, and administrators get an email with a link. If you think we have charged too much, write to contact@goalcube.eu with the invoice number.
Credit note when you get your money back
If you have had your money back within 14 days, you get a credit note. It is under Invoices next to the invoice it credits, and administrators get an email with a link. The money goes back to the card that paid; this can take a few days.
Invoice without VAT (other EU countries)
If you have a VAT number in another EU country, the invoice says "reverse charge", and it shows when the VAT number was confirmed in the European Commission's VAT register (VIES), and the VIES consultation number. This is GoalCube's documentation for invoicing without VAT.
Who can see invoices?
Only administrators. Other users cannot see the invoices or the list.
After deletion
GoalCube keeps invoices and credit notes for 5 years after the end of the financial year (the Danish Bookkeeping Act), even if you delete all data. Save them yourselves before you delete. See Account and data.
