What the law says
Contacts are personal data
A contact’s name, email and phone number are covered by GDPR – in a B2B contract too.
Sole traders are people
A freelancer or a farmer with their own business is often the same as the business. Company details can therefore be personal data.
Trade secrets need reasonable steps
Prices and terms are only protected as trade secrets if you protect them yourself (Directive (EU) 2016/943).
AI literacy applies to everyone
Everyone who uses AI at work needs the necessary knowledge – purchasing too (Art. 4 AI Act).
Short and simplified. GoalCube helps you follow the rules; it is not legal advice.
