How to

Money back within 14 days

For: The administratorTakes 2 min.Last updated

Short answer

At your first purchase, an administrator can get the money back within 14 days under Settings > Plan > Get a refund and confirm with their passkey. This applies as long as you have not used the plan: the AI has not fetched your own data, and no case has been decided. The right also lapses if you upgrade. It requires a company registration or VAT number and can be used once per company. You get a credit note, switch to AI use (free), and your data stays where it is.

When can you get your money back?

  • Only at the first purchase. This applies to the company's very first payment for a plan. Renewals and later purchases are not refunded.
  • Only an administrator. An administrator chooses it under Settings > Plan and presses Get a refund. You confirm with your passkey.
  • Within 14 days. The deadline runs to the end of the 14th day after the date on the invoice (Danish time). The last day is shown on the page.
  • Company registration or VAT number. The invoice must show a company registration or VAT number. The offer can only be used once per company – even if you create a new account.

When does the right lapse?

The right lapses once you have used the plan:

  • the AI has fetched your own data, or
  • a case has been decided in People decisions.

It also lapses if you upgrade to a bigger plan or switch from monthly to yearly, because the switch is a new purchase. The page tells you before you confirm.

Uploading data, looking around, using GoalCube's sample data or taking the Personal data trial does not count as use. The Plan page always shows whether you can get your money back – and if not, why.

What happens once you have chosen a refund

  • The money goes back to the card that paid. It can take a few days before it shows in your account.
  • You get a credit note. It is under Invoices on the Plan page, and administrators get an email with a link. See Invoices.
  • You switch straight to AI use (free), and the card is deleted at SumUp. No more money is taken.
  • Your data stays where it is. You can always delete it under Settings > Account and data.

If the Plan page says We are processing the refund manually, SumUp could not send the money back automatically. GoalCube then sends the money and tells you by email. You keep the plan in the meantime.

Cancelling and deleting are not the same

Cancelling the subscription or deleting all data does not send the money back by itself. If you want your money back, first choose Get a refund under Plan, and cancel or delete afterwards. See Account and data.

If you choose a paid plan again later, it is a new purchase, which cannot be refunded.

Have we charged too much?

If we have charged too much, we send the money back to the card and issue a credit note. Your subscription continues as before, and it does not use up your right to money back within 14 days. Write to contact@goalcube.eu with the invoice number. See Invoices.
