Account and data: cancel the agreement or delete everything

Cancel the agreement

1. Open Settings > Account and data.
2. Press Cancel the agreement and confirm with your passkey.
3. A paid subscription is cancelled too, and no more money is taken.

All your data is deleted automatically 30 days later. Until then you can use GoalCube as before, and an administrator can press Undo the cancellation. Data is deleted after 30 days, even if a paid period (for example a year) runs longer. The rest of the period is not refunded.

Cancelling and deleting do not send the money back by themselves. If it is your first purchase and you can still get money back within 14 days, first choose Get a refund under Plan, and cancel or delete afterwards. The page reminds you.

Delete everything now

Press Delete everything now and confirm with your passkey. It cannot be undone.

• Data, users, audit log and subscription are deleted straight away.
• Your encryption key is deleted too, so nothing can be read again.
• Copies in backups are deleted when they expire, no later than 30 days after.
• All your cards at SumUp are deleted.
• Administrators get a confirmation by email from noreply@goalcube.eu.

What is kept after deletion

GoalCube's invoices, credit notes and accounts are kept for 5 years after the end of the financial year they belong to, because the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven) requires it. They contain the company's name, address, country and VAT number, amounts, payment reference and the time of the tick "We buy as a company" – no personal names and no card details. If you have had your money back within 14 days, GoalCube also keeps a checksum of the country and VAT number (not the number itself) and the date for 5 years, so the offer is only used once. Who is allowed?

Only an administrator can cancel the agreement or delete data. Other users can see the page, but not the buttons.
