How to

Get started with GoalCube in fifteen minutes

For: The person in chargeTakes 15 min.Last updated

Short answer

Create a free account and log in with Face ID or fingerprint. At the top of Tasks you see "Get started" with a few steps that depend on your plan. AI use (free): say what you use AI for, get your AI policy and take the course (optional: connect your AI). With Personal data: upload your data, connect your AI, set up Face ID or fingerprint for decisions (only with Personal data + People decisions), get your AI policy and take the course. Get started disappears once the steps are done.

Before you start

Create your account. It is free, takes 1 minute, and you do not need a credit card. See Create an account, log in and invite colleagues.

The steps

Get started sits at the top of Tasks until the steps are done. The next step has a blue button that takes you straight to the right place. Completed steps get a tick.

What it looks like: Get started on TasksFictitious data
Get started on Tasks, here with Personal data + People decisions.

AI use (free)

  1. Say what you use AI for. Choose an example, such as "Replying to customer emails" or "Sorting applications". GoalCube shows straight away what it requires of you. You can also write your own. See Record a use of AI.
  2. Get your AI policy. GoalCube writes it from how you use AI. You read it and press Adopt the policy. See The AI policy.
  3. Take the course and send it to your colleagues. See The AI literacy course.

Optional: connect GoalCube to your AI, so it records new use by itself and shows your staff the policy. See Connect GoalCube to Claude or to ChatGPT.

Personal data and Personal data + People decisions

  1. Upload your data. For example a customer list from Excel, or CVs as PDF and Word. See Upload a table or Upload documents.
  2. Connect GoalCube to your AI. It takes 2 minutes, and you only do it once. See Connect GoalCube to Claude.
  3. Set up Face ID or fingerprint for decisions. Only with Personal data + People decisions. It lets you prove who decided a case. See Users and access.
  4. Get your AI policy. See The AI policy.
  5. Take the course and send it to your colleagues. See The AI literacy course.

Optional: write your secret words, such as internal project names, so the AI never sees them.

Afterwards

When the steps are done, Get started disappears. What is left is Tasks with what needs a person. The person responsible spends about five minutes a week there, and employees work in their AI as before. You can see how far you have got, and what is missing, under AI use. On Tasks it is a single line, for example "AI use: 4 of 6 ready for the regulator".

Which plan you have, and what the others offer, is in Plans: free and paid.
