What can you use AI for?
Choose a task. GoalCube works out the risk under the EU AI Act with fixed rules and tells you what to do.
Low risk when a coordinator approves. GoalCube hides names and phone numbers.

What the law says
Volunteers have the same rights
Your association is the controller for volunteers' data, just as a business is for its staff.
Article 4(7) and Article 24 GDPR
Allowances can be sensitive
Knowing that a volunteer has a bad back or an allergy is health data. Use it only to make allowances.
Article 9 GDPR
Everyone using AI needs the basics
Volunteer coordinators who use AI for the association also need the necessary AI literacy.
Article 4 AI Act
Short and simplified. GoalCube helps you follow the rules; it is not legal advice.
Your staff keep working. GoalCube keeps track of the rest.

Questions and answers
Does GDPR apply to voluntary organisations?
Yes. Associations process personal data about members and volunteers and must follow GDPR, whatever their size.
Can we use free ChatGPT for the rota?
Free and personal plans usually come without a data processing agreement (DPA), and your data may be used for training. Use a business plan, and don't send names and phone numbers to the AI – GoalCube replaces them with codes.
What does it cost for an association?
AI Map is free. Data Vault starts at €9 a month for 1–5 users – a fixed price for the whole association, based on the number of users.
