AI for contracts and procurement: How to use AI without giving your terms away
Short answer
AI can read contracts, find notice periods and automatic renewals, compare quotes and prepare negotiations – typically minimal risk under the AI Act. But contracts contain contact persons (personal data), confidential terms and prices (trade secrets), and many contracts prohibit sharing with third parties. Use a business subscription without training, check the confidentiality clauses, and hide names, amounts and your secret words before the AI sees the text.
