When GoalCube's rules change: a new version of an entry

For: The person in chargeTakes 2 min.Last updated

Short answer

GoalCube classifies uses of AI under a rule set with a version and a change log. When the law or the guidance changes, GoalCube updates the rule set. If the new rules give a confirmed entry a different classification, the entry gets a task and the button "Make a new version and confirm it". The old version applies until the new one is confirmed.

How you see it

  • Under "Review" on Tasks it says "The rules have changed: …" with the button Confirm again.
  • On the entry, it says what has changed, and there is a button Make a new version and confirm it.

What you do

  1. Press the button. GoalCube makes a new version with the new rules.
  2. Check the answers, and confirm the new version.

Until then, the old version applies, so employees can carry on working. Which rule set applies is shown under "Background, deadlines and shortcuts" on AI use.
