Automatic approval of low-risk use
Short answer
If the AI records a use with minimal or limited risk that does not involve decisions about people, GoalCube approves it automatically under a fixed rule. The employee sees "✓ All in order" and carries on working. The person responsible sees the approval under "Review" on Tasks and presses "Looks fine" – or "Correct the answers" if something is wrong. High risk and decisions about people are never approved automatically.
When is a use approved automatically?
All three conditions must be met:
- GoalCube classifies the use as minimal or limited risk. See Risk levels.
- The use is not about decisions about people (for example hiring, pay or dismissal).
- The dataset is not marked as one used for decisions about people.
A new version of an entry – for example after a rule change – is never approved automatically. A person must confirm it.
What happens afterwards
- The approval is saved in the audit log with a fingerprint, just like a manual confirmation.
- The person responsible sees it under Review on Tasks as "Approved automatically: …" and presses Looks fine. If there are several, they can be marked in one go with Everything approved looks fine. A press can be undone for 10 seconds.
- If GoalCube's answers are wrong, the person responsible presses Correct the answers. A new version is then made, which a person confirms.
Turn it off
Automatic approval is a recommendation in the rule library and is turned on from the start. If you would rather confirm all use yourselves, you can turn it off with a reason under Settings > Advanced. See Rule library.
